Planning for Progress

Pinellas County Schools hosted a series of community meetings across the district to share school-specific data and gather feedback on population and enrollment trends, facility planning and school utilization.

Ms. Baird

Ms. Baird

Hello! My name is Ms. Baird, and I have been teaching since 2006. I am originally from Michigan and love cheering on the University of Michigan — especially Michigan Wolverines football!

In my free time, I enjoy reading, working on puzzles, and traveling. I also have one daughter who attended Curtis Fundamental Elementary School years ago, which makes our school community even more special to me.

My classroom culture is all about having fun with structure. I believe students learn best when they feel engaged, challenged, and supported. In 2024, I began teaching gifted education and have loved the creativity, curiosity, and excitement that gifted learners bring to the classroom. One of my favorite parts of teaching gifted students is watching them dive deeply into topics and discover everything they can about what interests them.
